- Wine and Flavor Lab with J. Lohr Wines Upper Level Explore how wine transforms when it meets different flavors with J. Lohr Vineyards and Wines. Wine experts will reveal the science behind spicy, sweet, savory, and sour wine pairings.
- Science of Mushrooms Demos with Bay Area Applied Mycology Upper Level Get up close with a curated collection of real mushrooms guided by expert mycologists. Yeah, you could say they're pretty FUN GUYS!
- Drag Performance by Jackie Layshun Atrium Science just got a whole lot more fabulous. Watch local drag star Jackie Layshun strut through the exhibits serving looks, artistry, and pure joy.
- Sound Bath Activation led by Manik Dub Dream Garden Sink into a sound bath led by Manik Dub, set inside the Dream Garden exhibit. Close your eyes, settle in, and feel your problems drift away. (15 min. increments every hour).
- DIY Light-up Botanical Lanterns Balcony Transform simple glassware into glowing botanical lanterns! Using pressed flowers, foliage, and decoupage techniques, you'll leave with a custom piece of functional art to illuminate your home or garden.

Music and sounds by Universal Grammar DJs: Dance and enjoy music throughout the evening, intentionally curated by local DJ Chale Brown and Zuri Alexa of Universal Grammar. Moon Phase Art Workshop by Local Color: Create your own moon phase artwork in this guided art workshop facilitated by Local Color San Jose. Paint the lunar cycle with expert instruction. This interactive workshop combines astronomy and creativity, and you'll take home your finished cosmic artwork. Wine & Flavor Lab by J. Lohr Vineyards: Enjoy complimentary wine tastings throughout the evening, hosted by J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines. Discover what makes wine complex, develop your palate, and explore flavor profiles in this interactive tasting experience. Wine tastings are included with your Tech at Nite admission. DIY Lightsaber Building Workshop: Build your own working lightsaber and take it home. - Is food available? Food and beverages are available for purchase. Wine tasting by J. Lohr Vineyards is complimentary and included with your ticket.
- What should I wear to Tech at Nite: SPACE OUT? Generally, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing suitable for hands-on activities. You'll be painting, building, and creating, so avoid anything too precious. Dressy-casual night-out attire is perfect. That said, we always encourage dressing up in theme! Get creative. Get weird. Get Tech-y!
- Can I come alone? Absolutely! Tech at Nite welcomes solo attendees. Previous solo visitors have reported easily connecting with other attendees and enjoying the community atmosphere. The workshop format makes it easy to meet people naturally.
- How long should I plan to stay? Most attendees stay 2-3 hours, but you're welcome to stay for the full 4-hour event (7:00-11 PM). There's no rush! Explore at your own pace.
